IDP Agency Refund & Guarantee Policy
At IDP Agency, our mission is to ensure you receive a valid, high-quality International Driving Permit (IDP) and a smooth experience from start to finish.
We stand behind our products and want every customer to feel confident ordering from us — while keeping our refund process fair and transparent for everyone.
1. Global Acceptance Guarantee
Your IDP is guaranteed to be accepted in all countries listed on our “Where It’s Accepted” page. If it is officially rejected by a traffic authority or car rental agency in one of these countries, we’ll gladly provide a full refund.
How to claim:
1. Contact us via chat, email, or phone.
2. Share official proof of rejection — such as a letter, email, or screenshot from the agency/authority.
3. We’ll process your refund within 5 business days of approval.
Conditions:
- Claim must be made within 3 years of the order date.
- Refunds can only be approved when valid documentary proof is provided.
2. Fast Digital IDP Delivery Guarantee
We guarantee delivery of your digital IDP for complete and approved applications:
- Standard Processing: within 2 hours
- Express Processing: within 20 minutes
If we miss these timelines, you’ll get a full refund — no hassle.
⚠️ Incomplete or incorrect applications aren’t eligible, as they delay processing.
3. Unlimited Free Replacements
We provide free replacements for the full validity of your IDP:
- Digital copies: Free replacement anytime.
- Printed booklet/card: Free replacement if lost or undelivered (confirmed via tracking).
📦 If you need it sent to a different address or want faster shipping, we cover printing and issuance — you only pay the shipping cost.
4. Address Accuracy & Delivery
We do our best to ensure your order reaches you on time, but we rely on the address you provide. Please double-check your shipping details before finalizing your order.
- If an order is undeliverable due to an incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address provided at checkout, we unfortunately can’t offer a refund.
- We can, however, arrange a re-shipment at your expense once the correct address is provided.
5. Valid Driving License Requirement
Your IDP must be used with a valid domestic driving license. If your license is expired and this requirement is clearly stated on our website; a refund cannot be issued.
6. 30-Day Cancellation & Refund Policy
Within 2 Hours of Ordering
We understand that plans can change unexpectedly. If you need to cancel within 2 hours, please contact our Customer Care team with a short explanation and any supporting details (e.g., travel changes, duplicate order). This helps us process your request quickly and keep our service fair for all customers.
After 2 Hours but Within 30 Days
Refunds are available with a valid reason and supporting details, and are subject to:
- 15% printing & handling fee
- Non-refundable shipping and priority processing fees once the order has been processed or shipped
- A $10 USD printing fee if printing has already started
Change of Mind or ‘Accidental’ Orders
Orders placed intentionally and later canceled due to change of mind or claimed as “accidental” are not eligible for a refund once processing has begun.
7. Additional Refund Guidelines
- If you ordered both a Digital + Printed IDP but later only need the Digital version, we can refund the difference if printing hasn’t started.
- Priority processing fees are always non-refundable once the service has begun.
- Refunds for rejections always require documentary proof.
8. Important Notices
- Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
- Fraudulent, false, or abusive refund claims will be denied and may be reported to the appropriate authorities and payment processors.
- Digital IDPs are considered delivered once they are sent to the email address provided in your order. Please ensure you have access to the email address you provide and double-check it before making payment. If the email is incorrect, we cannot send your digital IDP.
- All optional service upgrades (e.g., express processing, premium shipping) are non-refundable once the service is initiated.
